PECRC Mass Meeting to be held on Mar. 20

March 20 at 7 pm is the date and time set for the 2018 Mass Meeting.  It will be held at the Natural Resources Building, 100 Dominion Drive.  The purpose of the Mass Meeting is: to elect a new chairman for a 2 year term, to elect delegates for the 5th District Convention on April 28, and to officially reconstitute the Prince Edward County Republican Committee. Barbecue and Bluegrass Tickets Now on Sale.

Tickets for the 7th Annual Barbecue and Bluegrass Festival are on sale now.  This year’s event will take place on Sept. 30, 4:30 – 7 pm.  The Woodland’s Community Center is the location and The Prodigal Son bluegrass band will return to play the music this year.  These elected representatives have bee invited to attend:  US Congressman Tom Garrett, State Senator Mark Peake, and Delegate James Edmunds.  Also invited are our Statewide slate of Republican nominees:  Ed Gillespie, Governor, Jill Vogel, Lt. PECRC Patio Garden Project is a success

On Sunday afternoon, April 23, members of the Unit Committee gathered at The Woodlands to complete a Spring project to benefit senior citizens living there.  They brought in large pots, soil, tomato plants and support wires, worked together to pot, water and deliver 18 plants to the residents.  Those who participated were Daniel Bradshaw, Cindy Koether, Don and Renee Maxey, Gail Acampora, Loretta Reardon, Richard Altice and Maria Fernandez.  Click here to see the article published in the Farmville Herald.  Click here to see photos of the Patio Garden Project.

The number of pre-files received was below the maximum that would have required a mass meeting to vote approval of the delegates so the meeting is cancelled and all pre-filed delegates will be deemed approved, pending certification as registered voters of Prince Edward County and proper completion of the pre-file forms.

Grand Opening of the Farmville Republican Campaign Office

Friday, Sept 9! Join us this Friday for the official opening of our Farmville Campaign Office at 1415E S. Main Street at 6 – 8 pm.  We will have special guests Tom Garrett, Candidate for Congress and a Trump Campaign representative  as well as many of our friends and fellow Republicans from Southside Virginia.  You will be able to visit our campaign office and sign up to volunteer.   Stop in to the office anytime, our hours are 10 am – 5 pm with phone banking activities on Tuesday and Thursday’s evenings.
